Hi Sunny,I to liked Lonnie Donegan also Mr Acker Bilk and his Paramount Jazz Band. Do you remember his Stranger on the Shore. Pure magic.
Kenny ball and his Jazz men were other favourites of mine.
All three bands performed at the South Pier and Gorleston's Garibaldi.
Wow! They were the days.

you are so talented at drawing sb.kenny use to buy his cigs just by ilford station really nice man.stranger on the shore i loved that.and it was played the way a clarinet should never be played i don't know why very good tune

They were great artistes then weren`t they s- b, good old days, thanks for the drawing, it`s very good as caz says, oh that` Stranger on the Shore `was mind blowing wasnt it.
