Just peeking in to say thanks for the welcome back from you all. I will try to check in more often.
I have been so busy and now I have a mess everywhere. There are packages, cards, tree decorations, tinsel and trash everywhere. I have too much stuff, I am overwhelmed and don't feel like doing any of it.
My daughter comes in next week, the Thursday before the big day, and I am afraid I won't be ready.
I think I am going through my usual blues, I get them every year at this time, silly, but I get a bit homesick and nostalgic for the good old days, when we were kids, and Christmas was magic.
Never mind, my tree is done, and it is sending a lovely glow over to me - I love that tree when it is all finished, it makes the days more colourful.

Know what you mean June, Christmas time is like that I think, when our thoughts go back to our youth, put a pic of your lovely tree so we can have a peek June, your daughter will get ready with you, and I bet you will have a lovely Xmas together, I wish you a really nice time June, and dont forget Abbie`s bone.

I dont think you should apologise for getting a bit sad and nostalgic at Christmas don't we all.
I love the context of Christmas but find it a very hard time of year to cope with but we do and no one knows any different
anyway a belated welcome back from me too

I just returned from a 5 day vacation, and find I left myself visiting on here!
I had a great time on holiday though. The vacation was spent in Palm Springs, California, lovely city, but very elite.
The Film Festival was going on and our Colin Firth was a big item there. It is a big award show........didn't get to see old Colin though.
