LOL, FC, Although I moan about the weather here in the summer, I'm I'd moan about it being the opposite there too! I've just come in and took a shower after spending a couple of hours at the "cement pond". The summer is easier to handle if you can hang out at the pool

Still hot and humid here.We may get some rain from the Hurricane in the Gulf.I am really enjoying reading Anne Baker's books about wartime England on Merseyside.I got one in Canada and ordered 7 more from Thrift books.
My daughter and son in law are down at Tiger Mountain Ranch.Today Michelle is brain tanning deer hides to make a buckskin jacket for herself. She has already completed a beautiful Eagle in beadwork to put across the shoulders.Moses and Ona are helping her with this project.

Meg, i saw the picture-that beadwork is amazing. I can imagine the smell of the deer brains. I can just about cook Bob venison but cooking the heart etc is nauseating.
My blood is now 1.8, so better than being 8 like last week,
however we obviously still don't have the dosage right. Does yours stay pretty consistent nowadays?

Mine usually is between 2 and 3 which is my goal,a couple of times it has been 3.1 but that is rare.I have been on Coumadin since 2001 and it has nearly always in that zone.Hope yours settles down soon.

Still extreme heat here.Supposed to get to 103/4F today again.I try to get any errands done early and get back home to the ceiling fans and A/C.Michelle and Terry have gone white water rafting in Montana and then to a cabin in Yosemite.Hope they don't meet any bears!!!Their cabin is on stilts so guess they won't wake up to any bears inside!!!So many people have been attacked by bears in National parks this year and a couple people have been killed by them.Guess we are encroaching more and more into their space.Going to a Pow Wow on Saturday to see our friends Ona and Moses. This time it is in a building at the Fairgrounds instead of outside which is good since it is so hot.
