I've heard of the Kite Runner and know several people that have read it, although I haven't read it or the other one.  Do you mean Memoirs of  a Geisha?  I have read that book about eight or nine years ago.....forgot about that one!  Haven't seen the movie of it though.

That's  good for you Meg that you have your money to pay for your electric bill. Fast food restaurants like McDonald and Wendy's are good to buy your snack or just have coffee. They have been patronizing by millions of people around the world because of their great food and service.

Thanks caz.I did have the surgery in San Antonio  a few years ago to cut the overactive nerve.I used to sweat on my face and neck and my hair used to be just like it had been washed. After the surgery I was one of the unlucky ones who got the compensatory sweating on my body and this year it has been just miserable.I even sweat in the nice A/C sitting in my chair just doing nothing.I sure wish someone would find a cure for it.I always say if the Queen or Mrs Obama had it maybe someone would find a cure.Only 1% of the population suffer from it.

Meg, I am so over this summer and I guess we're only half way through it!   It's too hot outside and work has been really busy.  Feel wiped out from it all.  I do enjoy the pool on my days off though, so that is one bright spot in all this.

Meg we did get a bit of a break around here and down in Atlanta when I was there for a few days up to July4th.  The temps were in the 80's and humidity was low.  It was soooo pleasant!

Having the heat index up over 100 is just too much!  I just don't see how some people actually like the heat and the dead of summer.  I sure don't!  I would like to see 75-80 degrees, low humidity, sunny and a slight breeze.  That's about perfect for me!
