I’m not venturing out with my camera today! Here’s my snow-capped wheelie-bins - the black one hides behind the other one as it’s camera-shy! I was just interested how the snow had stopped some 3-or-4” in front of the bins.

Near to where I live the snow has drifted along the pathway and in the centre it's roughly 12 - 18" deep - I had to walk near to the wall!
Despite my earlier protestation - I did venture out - and here's couple of pix (before you ask - Gulliver was turning!):

As you can see, it wanted to say it loved them.

Pauly:
The picture with "Gulliver" I took from Wilde's Score - it's a covered-in walkway which then opens out. The snow had blown through the wlakaway - I went a short way and then had to stop because I would have had to walk through deep snow - around 8".

Frankie - we all ask that! I think it represents a group of swans flying . . or perhaps it’s a gaggle of geese. It seems to have been as a result of a whim to have a sculpture of some sort - somewhere - and produced at enormous expense.
I think it would help if these “sculptures” (and I use the term loosely) acquired a local “name” - as, for example, the statue of Molly Malone in Dublin - and known locally as “The tart with the cart”! (if you’ve seen a picture of it - you’ll know why!)

Morecambe have some really nice sculptures on birds as they are very prevalent on the seafront. There are rocks on roundabouts with bird sculptures on them, birds on railings, etc. I'll see if I can get some pictures.
I see somebody has already done a far better job than I could do here on flickr...http://www.flickr.com/photos/10089490@N06/5850634994/in/set-72157618977418688/ have a flick through them and see what you think.

The highest Snowman in Lowestoft? Well spotted Trigger.
Members of the model boat club will be hoping someone has an icebreaker amongst their fleet, otherwise they aren't going to be able to use the boating lake in Kensington Gardens...

Mel, I was on your Flickr page and look at your photos. Compliments! Have you perhaps photography as a profession?
Thank you for the compliments Corine I am pleased you like the photos. No I am not a professional photographer it is just a hobby, a hobby I enjoy very much.

I second Corine's compliment. Gosh how long is it since you took up photography? I recall you gave up one hobby to take this one up. For Christmas i got a lovely surpise present from Stuart a new Cannon camera which i love and i'm hoping to be out there once again snapping away. The previous Christmas Stuart bought me a fuji digital, what a load of rubbish the worst camera ever , and really i should have took it back but at the time i had lost my friend a brilliant photographer and i felt really down in the dumps and the camera was put away and i only used it a few times. My new camera has brought a new lease of life to me and i can't wait to get out and...shoot. LOL
