Connecting a tablet « Posted: 05 February 2012 at 07:38 AM »

We have just bought a Tablet but are having difficulty connecting. We have put the password from the bottom of the router and it connects then immediately disables. What are we doing wrong?

Firstly Meryl you probably need to say what the actual Tablet is (Make, Model) as there maybe something in the settings that needs changing.  I can't say that I myself will be able to help but that info would probably be of use to whoever can.

Thank you. I have been with the makers of my router and after one disastrous episode with one so called technician, I think I have got there. The first girl was so incoherent that I had to ask her to contact me by e.mail. Having done this she took me through a procedure to reconfigure my router which ended in wiping out the internet . I then had to phone again and the young woman this time was a real expert. She talked me through to putting it back to factory settings and Lo and Behold a result. we also has a language problem but she handled it in a much nicer way, no exasperated sighs.

Good retort, Meryl.   Didn't realise you used any humour.

You obviously don't know me. You know my brother my humour is the same as his.
