I love Lowestoft!

Anyone here recall those 'funky' Thursday nights at 'Deadly Hedley'?  Not quite sure why the proprietors decided on Thursdays, but from my - admittedly - dim memories, the place was often bulging.  Thursdays also called, 'Grab-A-Granny-Night' (for obvious reasons).   I suppose it was a good way of kicking off early the weekend.  Anyway, I had some memorable (and not so memorable) evenings there.  Anyone else?

I was there from time to time too. If you remember Richard Nixon (the "funky president), he was the son of the landlady of the King Alfred in OB and used to use my gear that was left in there all week to practice on. I used to do the King Alfred disco four nights a week end of 75 all of 76 and first part of 77.
