I notice a notice for planning permission to turn the old Hamiltons offices into offices for windcat boats has gone up.
The notice is very high off the ground (in itself a breach of planning law) and is dated 27 Jan.The notice refers to the need for permission as this is (lets all have a laugh now) a conservation area.
The date on the notice is about a week after the five weeks work to turn this into offices was completed,the interior (which you can't see through the frosted glass windows) is already filled with office equipment.
This planning office is just a sick joke really,what are thwy going to do if permission is denied,tell them to turn it back to a restaurant?
I wonder how long if I started some conversions would it be before some twerp with a clipboard rolled up on the pavement?.

Is that what they call retrosepctive planning permission? Perhaps you should paint your place he colour you wanted OS and then apply for permission to do it.

It annoys me that the 'rules' aren't applied to everyone the same.
On another note I hear the buildings and structures on Hamilton Road opposite the so called marina are to be demolished to make way for the 'power park.'
