Predictions for the future in 100 years??
« Posted: 17 January 2012 at 07:55 PM »
BBC journalists have asked their online readers for their predictions what would happen within the next 100 years. Bearing in mind the advances made in the past 100 years, what do you think will happen?!

My prediction off the top of my head?
Most of Gt Yarmouth will have disappeared into the sea.
Lowestoft will be split in two, with the current bridge failing and no money to replace it. There will still be the Oulton Broad crossing.
The transport system will still be as bad as ever nationwide, and particularly here. However, it will be added by air travel such as flying cars, which will cause the traffic jams to become even worse.

100 years time people will be laughing at what we have now and about how good it was in todays world and no good in the future. Who knows will my laptop I am using now be in a museum like the first ever television?? I am sure we will be able to make robots like humans and will probably have them in our homes.

The sheep of the world would have woken up and realised there is no such thing as global warming, it is just the planets natural eco cycle happening, and David Bellamy will have a statue erected in his honour for blowing the lid on the myth stirred up by corrupt governments & bank rolled scientists!
Wind Turbines will be no more, because after the 2025 funding runs out on them no one will want to touch one, and they will go down in history as one of the most expensive pointless inventions ever!

I seem to recall that, not so many months ago, there were posts on here saying that the Mayan calendar says, I think, that the world going to end on 21/12/12 (so I won't need to buy any Christmas presents!). And so - why would we be concerning ourselves as to what is going to happen in one hundred years time?
