I put this My Low as well. Are any of you with BT and if so what is your opinion. I am fed up with TT as their speed is just about non existant. I would be grateful if you could give a rough idea of location and what speed you get. Thank you.

Meryl, I see your ISP is Tiscali which was taken over by TalkTalk.   Is your line with BT?  I was with BT at one time but my ISP was Tiscali (before I went to BT for Broadband).  I am now with TalkTalk for both.   Where abouts are you and what speeds are you getting?

Yes TT ,speed approx 2.1
 I have both telephone and broadband in Pakefield.  We have tried just about everything to speed it up.

Edit . Just did a check and it 1.9

Meryl can you find out the following from your router stats and post them here:

ADSL Mode
DSL Line Speed    UP   and    DOWN    (not a speed test result)
Line Attenuation UP   and    DOWN
SN Margin    UP and  DOWN

Meryl I m in kirkley and my speed is normally between 7.5 and 8 with Bt  and have had no probs It used to cut out a lot when i was with Orange

I have BT Option 3, and average download of about 11 and upload of 1.5.  I pay silly prices to BT for the reliability, and also knowing that if all goes wrong the ISP wont blame the line provider as many other ISPs do.  From my own research over the years, BT is the best, although also the priciest.
