It's a brilliant place for a 'Medieval' photoshoot...

Both good guesses...But wrong...

It's about 15-20 miles from Lowestoft...North...Before Yarmouth and turn left....

'Hopton'...Well...you can't get into it...

And 'Covehithe' is a lot neater and 'groomed'...and South...

These are totally deserted ruins...Have a total history of 'Dark magic' and 'Witchcraft' and 'Hangings' (hence the tree in the middle)...

Totally haunted...(if you believe in that kind of thing)

Apparently 16th C ruins...

Skims Norfolk/Suffolk borders...(i think)...but it didnt really take me that long to find it and get there...

It's hidden from the road...BUT...it's right on the edge of the road..

It's proper 'ruins' that you can go visit...(what you see in the pics..is about all it is..but its worth the drive out)..

it's in the middle of nowhere...

Pauly...

(Now, all i got to do remember how to get there...even after 3 visits..otherwise i would have told you photography members by now on how to find it...  Smiley )

Meg...

Noooo...

Roman 'Burgh Castle' is just and 'acre' open space, enclosed in three walls...Not much to see there...

In all honesty...I'm going to have to Google where i was when i took the pictures...(and it was only just last August 2011 that i was there).....but i know it was about half hour drive from Lowie...Towards Yarmouth and chuck a left...

Dont worry...I'll find it again and let everyone know...

It was near a load of wind turbines in a field...

I'm needing a bit of help here..as i really have forgotten...and seem to have no reference saved on my PC...

Ya' think i would have had enough sense to save the location...But i didn't...

  Huh
