There is a maximum size, Dorothy of 150KB which is not particularly big when you consider that many mobile phone pictures are well in excess of 1MB (1024KB) these days.      Not quite sure of the reason for your comment Huh

Boatbuilder I spent most of my time over the years in Kens Corner and we were requested a long time ago to keep pictures to about 70kB - obviously things have altered!

Things have not changed.     The size limit across the site is 150KB and is specified in the site's settings and has been that all the time I have been a member.   If that was Ken's request in his corner, then that must have been his request for that part of the site.

If you look in the main reply panel from where you can attach pictures you will see that it states the maximum size per file is 150KB with a maximum of three per post.

We used to have a much smaller maximum size.   150 KB is relatively recent. (a few years).

Its been the same as far as I know since I ve been on here,  5+ years, at least I ve always resized them to the same size

Thank goodness you remember it as well Freelance, I was beginning to think I was imagining things Roll Eyes..I remember if we tried to post a large photograph we had a message come up saying it was too large to post.
I seem to have put the cat among the pigeons which wasn't my intention. Sad
