I don't think that house in Cotmer Road is/was as bad as a house near to The Old Feathers on the A146 near Norwich, which was revealed for all to see when the trees were cut down around it some six months or so ago. They completely gutted that house and it now looks like it will be a beautiful house when they finish renovating it.

We had painted cows all over Burlington vt. One was vandalized and a vet actually mended the leg with plaster cast material!

No trees were harmed as a result of this post, however a large number of electrons were temporarily inconvenienced.

Had a lovely day out in Southport last week it was flipping cold but we were well wrapped up.
Southport is a beautiful place and i love the shops here.
I caught this cormorant enjoying the view too.

It is freezing out this morning. Last night we had sleet, hail and snow and this is the view from my kitchen window.

We spent a day there last summer, Margo when we went to Lancashire for a few days to see our daughter and family who live not far from you. Here are a couple of pics from then, although the weather wasn't very kind. In fact that is where I met my wife back in 1966 - we both lived about 15 miles from there in different directions, so we used to meet up and spend a lot of time there in those days.

Was it you that used to go to the Lido at Grange BB? I should look back and check but I think it was you - just heard on the news that a bid to rebuild the lido has fallen by the wayside and there are now plans to turn it into a medical centre.

Yes, it was me Frankie. I only went there once on a visit to Grange back in the late 60's with my wife-to-be. You will recall we exchanged pictures on here several months back. Sorry to hear plans to rebuild it have fallen through.

This little monument in Great Yarmouth marks the beginning (or the end) of three important Norfolk walks. Angles Way, Weaver's Way and Wherryman's Way.
