FC i recall you live somewhere rather nice, no i wouldn't move either, so stuff the heating.   Grin

The heating engineer has been and gone and the boiler needs several parts.  Roll Eyes So no hot water and no heat evil6

I will get the fan heater out and watch the meter go hell for leather.  laugh

It was minus five here this morning and it still feels like minus 5.

My wife also feels the cold as she has had the same thyroid problem for about 15 years.  It doesn't help with her being disabled and being unable to move around to keep warm.   We have just got back in from town where I was pushing my wife around in her wheelchair and although the temperature was 2 degrees and did not feel cold to me she was complaining how cold it was.

BB, your wife will be in a worse state than me at least i can move and she will defo feel the cold worse.

i know what the thyroid like more freezing than other people. i sit here gloves hat blankets my oldman gives me no understanding with thyroid aslong as he comforable it s0d me.I glad to get away as much as possible,freezing cold train warmer than my house..

I know what you mean...I got fingerless gloves on and wearing Swedish Army thermals...And i am inside my house..

I even went down Argos and bought a cheap, small electric blanket...It's bloody lovely getting in bed now..
