Christmas Lunch
« Posted: 09 December 2011 at 12:35 PM »
I heard on Heart local radio ( I alternate between both that and Beach) that one of the presenters Rob Chandler had been invited to and attended a Christmas Lunch with WDC and the Chamber of Commerce yesterday.I don't know where my invite was,but I'm pleased to see cost cutting only effects some people. Anyone else on here get an invite?

My invite must have gone astray too Jane. I will drop them a line to let them know.

When I saw the topic name, I thought it was you sending out invites to all members to have Christmas Lunch with you, NJ.
I'm disappointed, now.

I'm glad my invite went missing, sitting with a bunch of stuffed shirts would be bad enough, but having to listen to Rob Chandler as well!

NJ, are you a member of either WDC or the Chamber of Commerce?

I think NJ's original post was just a tongue-in-cheek comment aimed at 'Cost Cutting'
If not, I'm sure she will confirm it.

Surely if businesses want to pay for dinners then it's up to them, and not for "ordinary" people to question it.
