I have lived both in inner london outside all over country where one expects to find dog filth on the streets but surprise i was able to walk down the streets and see little of the stuff.HERE in lowestoft we swimining in it. i dont understand the mindset of such filthy people, but all is not lost,i have discoved a spray which other towns use,it fluresent orange and it sprayed on the cr8p,children then can see it not walk on it...i understand in other areas they only need about 100 cans a week of course lowestoft will need considerably more. i have been unfortunate to see the results of eyes after dog mess, and what you see is little worms swimming around in the eyes,i dread to think what the children have of these dog owners without a doubt worms. hygine cost nothing but saves lives

Its something that's everywhere sadly, being a birder i dont see dog walkers as a natural allie (always get where you don't want to flushing and disturbing things... but that's another debate). Make no mistake always remember sensible dog owners certainly exist if it wasn't for them there would be far more faecal matter lying around.
A friend said the other day if you own 1 dog you have a dog, if you own 2 dogs you have half a dog and more than 2, you have a pack, or in other words they wont listen to you.
I see people down the beach sometimes walking 5-6 even more dogs, in these times of austerity I cant see how people can afford so many, and they all haven't a hope in hell of cleaning up after them or keeping them under control to an extent not to annoy other people, i know as i seen this all with my own eyes many times. Maybe there should be some sort of dog licence or law passed on maximum dog ownership but make laws you also got to enforce them.

well as it happen i agree with you andre, but as other areas pay then not unreasonable to be on a wage, but i for one would do it.i have placed 6 notes on 6 dollops outside my house this morning i ask cops if that was ok apart from them asking me to remove dog sh1t name replace with poo then it ok.the laugh is they ask me get council to remove it, they were staggered about the fly tipping o.s mentioned said was criminal offence and if evidence of address of fly tipper they would gladly arrest them but unless council report then nothing can be done.some filthy locals and people who do nothing just accept it must have questionable hygine habbits

Snowdrop: Have you contacted “The Journal” to see if they would be prepared to do an article about this?
