Thanks everyone.  A lot of you recommend Longworths - did Longworths used to be Stebbings butchers in the High Street?

I think thats the one EP that was the name I was trying to remember think when it was Stebbings they used to get awards for their sausages

Norwich Road, not sure of his name,. although I have heard his wife is unwell and he did close for a while but re opened, she makes the best meat pies on the planet, has he closed again East Point? if so then Longworths is my 2nd choice, the one on Gorleston Road is much friendlier.

No Gawden. it's not the Norwich Road one that I was referring to, so expect they are still open.

If you go to Beccles try SEPPINGS, excellent. They must be good 'cos Twyfords use them.
