Perhaps it isn't 'red tape' that is stifling growth. « Posted: 11 November 2011 at 08:35 AM »

Bad management could be costing UK businesses more than £19 billion in lost working hours every year, according to a survey published today by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

The CMI's report suggests that three-quarters of employees waste almost two hours of their working time every week because of their managers' inefficiency.

I know, why don't they tell us something we don't already know?

Speaking of employees time being wasted, any mention of E-Bay, Facebook and pointless emails in there too?

Socratic method - "The method of teaching in which the master imparts no information, but asks a sequence of questions, through answering which the pupil eventually comes to the desired knowledge. Socratic irony is the pose of ignorance on the part of the master, who may in fact know more about the matter than he lets on."

But you do need to answer the questions in order that the pupil comes to the desired knowledge - not just respond with another question.
