A Murmuration of Starlings
« Posted: 05 November 2011 at 12:34 PM »
If you want to see a real Murmuration of Starlings - take a look at this short video:
http://vimeo.com/31158841
. It starts with a few shots of someone in a canoe - then the display starts!

I have seen similar (if not quite so many involved) whilst driving along the Acle Straight shortly after dawn. Can be a bit distracting whilst driving, though.

To be under them like that in solitude of a canoe must have been a truly wondrous time
I'm envious

Amazing, and how wonderful to experience that in person(although maybe scary if you have seen Hitchcocks the birds)

No trees were harmed as a result of this post, however a large number of electrons were temporarily inconvenienced.
