Good heavens, it's still October and we are already on November chit chat. As to halloween, we have an alternitive halloween party in the church with all sorts of activities, which is an attempt at keeping the children off the streets, and annoying the neighbours.

Charles - if you take a look at first post on here - you'll find why it was started early.  Smiley

Quite right Trigger. It was only a light hearted quip on the fact that time rushes on - soon be Christmas!!
Incidentely, I cheated and put the clock back during the afternoon. We have scaffold all round the church due to roof work going on, so there is limited visability to the clock anyway, and I turned off the strike having put the bells up for ringing on Sunday.

I wasn't nagging you - as if I would!

It was just to show that sometimes months can start a day or so early!   Grin

Does anybody know where I can get a small explosive device that will only go off when my doorbell is rung once more by a trick or treater?

I was fed up with them one year, and I have a CD of animal sounds so I had it set to a lion roar and had the portable CD player volume set to high with it placed behind the front door.   When the doorbell rang, I played it.   They never came back!  Smiley
