It's complicated. I guess the euro-zone will be split into euro- currency and euro banks (as a euro state country) and others eg GB who will be euro-orbit countries and not politically/financially tied. This actually is potentially good for GB. imo.

Funny if it splits many more ways we'll be back to where we started from as individuals within a continent

I will give a try agian Aussie k, but when I have previously stated an opinion I have been asked to add a link - not sure if this happened to anyone else? -
I think links have become way too much of an obsession on this site. Unfortunate sign of the times I suppose.

Phew FL someone talking my language I think links can be important to prove a point but can override any kind of conversation. If youre in a room of people having an argument or debate you dont keep stopping to find a link Obviously if someone says well I dont believe that you may need to prove it but its almost an obsession now every statement however futile has to backed up with a link

Glad you agree FC. It's especially wrong to ask for a link to support someone's own opinion.
We tend to get loads of stuff out of newspapers posted and links, links, links ......... We can all read the papers and find what interests us, and see the same things over and over on TV.

I see Elliot Morley the man who as fishing minister fiddled (his expenses) whilst the fishing industry vanished is back too after serving just a quarter of his sentance wearing his Rolex in an open easy peasy prison.
Time was when traitors were sent to the tower.

Nobody has ever asked me for a link, maybe because they don't think what I have written is not worth the paper it has been written on. As I see it it's just a past time & it's my honest opinion any way.

The decommisioning of fishing boats with the grants for doing so and the sharing out of what were our fishing grounds to foreigners were handled by a man now recognised as a fiddler and a thief. So how sure are we that it was done honestly?.
It certainly left the British with a fleet that would fit in a large paddling pool but a select few ended up much better off whilst the vast majority faced the sack.
As the biggest supplier of the fishing fleets sailing out of Lowestoft I kept hearing Morley and Bobby telling me that there would be compensation for me and others affected by the elimination of these boats.Neither wanted to know when the sell out finally happened and as we suspected all along the other suppliers and myself got beggar all.
