Have you tried searching on Google images? You'll be surprised what you can find on there. I tried simply "Lowestoft trawlers" and came up with lots.

Have you contacted John Wells in Southwold?

Meryl is right. All those photos are available at John Wells Southwold shop. His son runs the shop.
John was once kind enough to give me permission to offer any of his copyright photos for publication. I just needed to try get him a photo credit.

Also try Malcolm R White's web site. He has published several good books about Lowestoft and the fishing industry.

If you click on the Forum Index bar on the left and then go down to "The Dark Room" you will find a subject called "ships and boats", I think that is where FC posted her pics Charlie. Try clicking on this link as a shortcut http://www.lowestoftonline.com/community/index.php/topic,19591.0.html

I archived the first part of 'ships and boats' as the topic was rather long.  They are all there in 'The Dark Room'.  They were the posts before 2010.

Do you know what the naval boat is on pic 4 FC? Looks like it is flying the white ensign anyway?
