Time To Go Mr Draper
« Posted: 08 October 2011 at 12:53 PM »
Is the front page headline of the journal this week. He should go now rather than keep dragging what left of WDC s reputation through the mud. His position is untenable and its only a matter of time before he does go, so better it is now.
This is my call for his resignation.

Well if he does go it will mean we will have a hung council again and the torys will have to fight for a regaining of the seat which could only be a good thing as the torys only got control by one person siding with them. It should get interesting i dont care about the guy really and in all honesty he is not the first to have done such a thing so i dont see what the problem is really apart from the council situation.

That link is not valid, Malcolm. Perhaps this is the one:

Hes obviously a very arrogant man who thinks hes made a 'little mistake' which everyone will forget and forgive WDC has prove itself yet again to be weak and yes he must go and give his constituants the chance to vote for someone with a bit more integrity.
The whole Tory/Labour thing here was flawed and should NEVER have gone into Tory hands that was a definate manipulation, similar to when George Bush didnt get in but then on a recount suddenly had a few extra votes enough to put him into office
All corrupt

The scandal is the "Do you know I'm a councillor officer?" bit as much as anything else. A clear indication that he ,like so many of his cronies think that their 'position' gives them immunity from the laws of the land the rest of us have to obey.
He should have been arrested for abuse of public office.
He is clearly arrogant and without integrity, well suited to a position at WDC then.

Links, links, links, ...................... becoming such an obsession on here.
As pointed out in the beginning - it's in the local paper. Anyone can access it wherever they live.
Does anyone else deplore great chunks of newspaper stuff (in other topics) and links, when we can all read papers?
