The first of every month my Dad rings me to say 'Rabbits rabbits rabbits' I ve no idea if this is a family tradition or local or what and why Rabbits? Does anyoe else do this and where did it come from? What other traditions are there in your family?

We have always said "rabbits rabbits rabbits" on the first of each month. For us it must be the first words you utter on that day.

Question though... is it said the first thing when you wake up (before speaking to anyone else), or can you say it at one minute past midnight?!

Why must it? What happens if you say something before you say rabbits?
