BT Home Hub « Posted: 29 September 2011 at 01:02 PM »

Why is it that for the past 2-3 days the Broadband light on my home hub keeps flashing orange. I have to wait for it to turn blue again before I can continue?

Mine BT homehubs fine why dont you ring them they are very good at working out probems and there is obviously a problem with the connection if it is going off from the blue light, the orange is when it is searching to find the connection

Suggest you contact BT as there may be a problem at the exchange.
Have you checked the BT status online?

Thanks everyone.  No, haven't checked the BT status, but if and when it happens again, then I will.  Perhaps phone BT too.  Cheers. Smiley

Service status line is 0800 169 0199

In the manual they say that if your light continues to flash there may be a fault or interferance on your line. Please call on 0800 111 4567 (please make sure you are at your computer and it is turned on when you call)

SD - You will notice that neither of these is a premium call, they are both free-phone numbers.

Thanks for those phone numbers Morty.  Touch wood, but since I posted this query, it hasn't happened again.
