Marks & Sparks also do braces. I would imagine they sell decent stuff.

Do people REALLY still remember braces?  Is this another OS wind-up?

Coes in Clapen road where I bought a pair this week. A good selection but may be a bit pricey. Some times a belt isn't just good enough and can be uncomfortable. I bought a pair mainly for wearing with my dress suit because they don't have belts on the trousers.

If you pay a bit more OS will get the quality he is looking for.

After all our concerns about your trews where did you get them from in the end?

Coes as advised.
I'll have to stop stuffing spanners and things in my pockets to give them an easier life but they look far stronger than the other things.
It wasn't a wind up I find belts uncomfortable although that probably hasn't been helped by the increase in my circumference since I gave up a very heavy smoking habit some years back.
