Powerboat racing coming to lowestoft seafront (october 1st,2nd) « Posted: 23 September 2011 at 09:22 AM »
Hi guys there will be some offshore powerboat racing coming to lowestoft on the above dates they are called thundercats and will race between the claremont pier and the south pier. The event will be held from 10am to 3pm both days so might be worth a look. It will be the national championships and these things really do bounce around a lot more details can be found on their website thanks to my friend for telling me.

Mod’s Note: As this is also in “Read all about it”  with a slight difference in the time - I quote from the official Timetable of the event: Official Practice 10:45 - 11:05    Race Start: 11:10 - 14:30

No Problem Lpeek there will be presentations on the days and the pits will be near the claremont pier so people can view them from the seafront.
