Oh well.....The bunker has now gone.

They started knocking it down yesterday and as I just drove past and it is now just a hole in the ground with some rubble.

I drove past it today...

Nothing above ground level...

Shame...

Even tho it was a useless eyesore...It was still a part of Lowestoft history...

It's a shame it couldn't have been converted into something else...

Perhaps they can ensure that the bloke in the bowler hat is still down there before they make the ground flat.  Wink
