Post away with your September images....
Here's one which I received via email tonight from the NASA E-O which is obviously not my work, but is posted courtesy of the NASA Earth Observatory.
It is an image of North Western Europe at night on August 11th 2011. North is to the left and I reckon the spot of light about 20mm below the first 'm' in Amsterdam is Lowestoft.

On my holidays this year I came across this poor fellow in Milan cathedral. It is St. Bartholomew who was martyred by being flailed...what looks like his cloak on his shoulder is in fact his skin...bet that hurt

Here is a couple more from Milan, an impressive entrance to one of the world's first shopping Malls, full of expensive designer shops but they did make room for a McDonalds

Great window depicting St. George Kerch. Norwich Cathedral is certainly a superb building to visit and to explore.
If I didn't have my rusty trusty bike to get about on I wouldn't mind one of these...

No we caught the heavy shower (and a little bit of thunder) Kerch but managed to get into one of the marquees so we stayed dry, but it only lasted for about twenty minutes...the rest of the day was fine.

It was taken very quickly Trigger as I had to run to find shelter from the rain
It was at 1/100th of a second but I should have taken them at a faster speed as the cyclists came out blurry on most of the shots.

I thought it would be that, Mel - or perhaps more. For me - that’s Exhibition quality. But would agree that a higher speed would have been better
I know someone who took a pic of a Swan (OB) and that was @ 1/2000th (May Flora & Fauna #37) but, in my defence; it was the camera’s decision!

Interesting set of pictures Kerch. Especially like the first one of the two beret wearing men leading the horse, a well composed shot with the vineyards in the background.

Thank-you Mel & BB . The wine might take a few years getting to you ,time it's fermented ,matured and been bottled . There was n't much pressed this afternoon about 150 lts at the most .Alot of people were drink the juice but after the children had squashed the grapes with their feet I did n't fancy trying it.

Kerch: An excellent set of pictures of the event - and agree with Mel about the first picture.
I’d love to “tread the grapes” - but are you allowed to keep your socks on?

NO Trigger you're not ! I wonder if any of the wine producers still tread grapes? If they do it would be adults doing the work and in a huge vat maybe you're in with a chance.Think you need a travel agent that specializes in unusal holidays . Thank you the first photo is my favorite too .

How very disappointing! But I'm sure my "non-treading" of the grapes can only be of benefit of the wine industry!

Last evening was the inauguration of the new place in the center of Fleury.Photo is of an unusual fountain on top of the pillars are glass pears ,which are part of the town crest under the pillars are three very shallow pools about 2 inches of water in them .The old name for Fleury was Perignan which means pear .There was a dance group from Narbonne but the photos were a bit of a disaster end up tweaking this one as an oil painting.

FC that's one of the 'micro moth' species of which theres thousands in total! I've seen a few myself including the 'white plume' a white version of what you've photoed and the only one to have an English name! They're not all that rare they do wander indoors from tmie to time like other moths.
UK moths have grouped them under one family; 'Pterophoridae'
http://ukmoths.org.uk/systematic.php#Pterophoridae
EDIT: closest one i could find was this one: http://ukmoths.org.uk/show.php?bf=1508
