cut the pay good idea,but make sure the mental hospitals and place of works have defib machines they be needed.
I kid you not,when i was lowly student nurse we had a condition called Fords supervisor syndrome we on take for area that had high dependency of employees from Fords,these men were paid poorly and worked very hard.It difficult balance but what we have now is as bad.

i would like to get my daughter afew hours aweek like bit of sweeping tea girl etc.the rules say at least 5 people depending on place of works should be employed,TRIed nhs, local authory WHO SHOULD etc she cant earn over twenty a week it all very sad when you get lazy oiks doing sweet f.a

A lot of the charity shops will take on a disabled person to work I know its not money SD but may be good for her to feel important What about the Shaw Trust Milton Rd think they earn small wages there maybe

i tried most of them in LT fc and they have their quota i am told...what lots of firms do is take someone on who has epilepsy  or diabetes for  a disability not seen and these days well controlled,that way they have the number of disabled people the law requires

Age Concern on Station Square is always looking for volunteers.  Dont think disabilities matter or come into it - we have a few disabled there already.

it could not be on the till or anything compilcated and one of her parents would pick her take and bring her home.but it would be nice if she could get alittle paid job tenner for hour or two somewhere.

Andree, I think this debate we were discussing is out of place in the debate lowestoft issues category  it would be more in place in the debating chamber and it would be better if it was widened so others can join in.
 I find it pointless for just you & I knocking our heads against a wall & making no progress it looks as if every one is fed up to the eye brows with just you & I bantering backwards & forwards with no other support to make it an interesting debate.

I wonder what others think?

As I see it a debate cannot succeed with every one agreeing with each other. I will carry on my lone quest being forthright in my views for the next four weeks & then I am off on a cruise for a couple of weeks, then I shall have to reflect whether to continue or to step aside & for me that would be dissapointing.

You have not been found wanting in raising serious points of view in all kinds of Social problems and i know you care so much for those who are deprived of the things that many of us take for granted as do I.
Because not enough people take part in these debates I have to agree with you for once  that the debates get boring and stereotyped. I have to tread a long & lonely furrow being one who is among many who have opposite views as myself and I believe that one reason why there is not many on the right taking part is because of a great imbalance in the numbers with different political views.
I believe that despite my forceful ways on how i put over my point of view I am far more a socialist than many people on the left.
Of coarse, that you may not agree with.

Lets get more views.
