Hi all
John Patterson mariner of HMS Monarch married 17/04/1800 at St Nicholas Great Yarmouth Jane Andrews of Lowestoft daug of  William Andrews & Ann Hammersley.
 William Andrews & Ann Hammersley have two other daugs Mary Ann & Phyllis
 Mary Ann marries Thomas Rose 1774-1859 son of Thomas & Ann
Phyllis b.1783 marries James Norman b.1780  son of James Norman

 Both these couples have children who have 2nd names of Andrews or Patterson.
 Both couples have sons who are called John Patterson Rose, Thomas
Patterson Rose & John Patterson Norman.

So it looks like John Patterson Rose,Thomas Patterson Rose  & John
Patterson Norman are given the middle name Patterson after their Uncle
John Patterson husband of Jane Andrews.
 John & Jane Patterson i lose until i find them at Mariners Lane Lowestoft in 1841.John is a fisherman aged 65 yrs &  they have Jane as 50 but that is not correct as she was bapt 18/06/1780 Lowestoft.So she would have been 60/61yrs.
Then no trace of them in 1851 census.
Have checked BMD,FreeReg,Ancestry.Com but no trace. Been also in Family search Lowestoft St Margaret parish regs but i see they don't have burials 1841-1846.
Does anybody have access to this period. Unless he was lost at sea.
Tried Oulton St Michael in case ended up in workhouse but nothing there also.
Any help gratefully received.

PS. Not found any children of John & Jane Patterson as yet.

Found their burials.
John Patterson:
Burial Date:    12 Apr 1850
Burial Place:    Lowestoft, St. Margaret
age 76 yrs
Jane Patterson
Burial Date:    14 Nov 1863
Burial Place:    Lowestoft,St Margaret
age 82 yrs.
