I found this site whilst looking for a book on Lowestoft railways (which I also found). I lived in London Road, Pakefield from 1950 to 1962 (now living in Buckinghamshire) and went to Pakefield Primary School. I still love to visit on a regular basis, and to see my brother and family who live in North Lowestoft. I look forward to browsing the site for info and photos on Lowestoft and area, as well as keeping up with local events, and also to possibly make conatct with old friends? If I can get this picture to load!! it is me on the first day of school 1955

Like the cap Charles I had one like that, It looks as if we may have stareted PPS at about the same time, can't remember the year 54/55.
