Knowing the Highway Code won't help you cross this insane road. Instead bravery, skill and sheer stupidity are the order of the day.

This chap displayed all these qualities, weaving through dozens of mopeds and buses on a highway in Vietnam. He's trying to pass at a Zebra crossing, but the traffic just ignores it.

Amazingly, the plucky pedestrian makes it to the other side unscathed thanks to an ingenious stop-start shuffle technique. He is so proud of his death-defying efforts that he raises his arms in celebration.

The zebra crossing style stripes obviously mean nothing there, or there is no law that governs them.
