Can anyone recommend a firm to lay (make?) a small patio? I phone a local firm early on Tuesday and left a message asking them to ring me - no reply. Phoned two firms this morning (numbers from Yellow Pages) - the first brought a BT message: “This number does not accept incoming calls”; and the second got “This number has not been recognised” - but double-checked it and its correct!

I have seen vehicles about for Gary Cooper Paving.   However I have just tried their website and it doesn't respond.   Is that the one you've been trying?   Thinking about it I haven't seen any recently though.

Gary Cooper was an actor - who often played cowboys - think "High Noon". 

But he made a number of non-cowboy films.

Thanks for the replies - EP and BB: I have tracked down “Gary Cooper Paving” - they are based in Wymondham.  Hoped to get someone a bit nearer.

Fortunately, I spoke to my neighbour and she uses a local builder for such worked - she phoned him - and he’s going to call me later today.  Hopefully (fingers crossed!) he may be able to do this work.
