Great !! it's still keeping it out of landfill and doing some good.
Problem with a lot of items nowadays is Charity shops can't accept a lot of stuff, due to Health and Safety rules.
Our rules are "It must be free, legal to give and own and appropriate for the age it's advertised for." Fairly simple really.

You are right re: charity shops not accepting some things W F, I had a good settee and wardrobe to give them they had the settee, but couldnt accept the wardrobe, I think that was because of H & S rules.

Why would people want to JOIN something in order to give things away?
I can see the need for lists of offers and wants, but why need membership?
