With so many ways to fake videos and photos my first thought was that it was a trick. But surely not, after all, they used the same lion in the Aviva advert and that was real. Wasn't it?   icon_scratch

Here’s another lion story, in the late 60s two students bought a lion cub from Harrods (as you would!) - they named it Christian and kept it for a year until it got too large.  Eventually they contacted George Adamson (whose wife, Joy, wrote the book “Born Free” about Elsa the lioness) in Kenya who agreed to try and reintroduce Christian to the wild - which he did successfully.
In 1971 the two men went to Kenya to see George and hopefully see Christian - watch the clip and see what happens! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oiGKWoJi5qM

The whole story is in a book “A Lion named Christian” and it’s also on DVD with the same title - and is well worth watching.

What I find truly amazing is that Christian's mate - a wild lion - comes and greets them as well.
