Homegroup icon « Posted: 12 July 2011 at 10:20 AM »

A new icon (named as above) has suddenly appeared on my desktop - from whence it came I wouldn’t have any idea.  Explored a bit -  and found it’s a W7 thing.

To the best of my knowledge it’s not something I’ve called up - perhaps it’s W7 just taking control of my PC!  Can’t see any way of removing the icon - it refuses to go into the Recycling Bin - and seems to be locked onto the desktop (it won’t move!).

Anyone knows about this phenomenon?

Good news - the icon's gone of it's own accord.  Thankfully, it wasn't caused by a Senior Moment!  Grin

Thanks Cy - hopefully it won't return (I'm keeping everything crossed!)
