Where To Eat ?
« Posted: 03 July 2011 at 10:05 AM »
Hey guys
As quite a Lowestoft newbie well a one year resident can you all recommend your favourite eateries and please explain why or any good times had and of course bad stories of places you dont recommend,
We have tried the Wherry for carvery on Friday but we were dispointed with the bland food,
Look forward to hearing your stories,
p.s I have transport so surrounding villages and towns are cool also

The Blue Boar in Oulton village is a lovely place for a meal - go there often. The food and service are very good.

Hamiltons on Battery Green Road opposite the main entrance to the docks next to the bingo, very traditional food and very nice.

tried Sargent Peppers and found the staff to be rude and the food to be substandard, will have to try the Blue Boar though as I have heard good reports from others so many thanks
