I did change because the annoyance was too much but just worth mentioning that its not a completely straight forward process to change I in my ignorance thought it would be

I think that, like you, most people would think it to be straightforward - but in many cases it isn't.  I know of some cases where the process has taken ages - but, part of the problem seems to lie with BT Openreach who do most of the process.  And they, seemingly "work in mysterious ways their wonders to perform"!

My problems with orange were long before Tmobile days

Its not the case of just sticking dvd in Sd you have to get your provider to give you a MAC code which you have to give to new provider then it mysteriously disappears and lots of phone calls later it passes to the new provider and gets activated then you have set up your new router and cables etc

It`s strange how some get it bad ,and some get it good, do you know if it is the( areas )affected Trigger , or what, I am ignorant of the knowledge I must admit, but several friends here on Orange also have had no problems, I cant understand the reason, but as you say, the buck gets passed around when there is trouble. Hope James gets things sorted soon. Smiley wave hi funky doesnt appear too straightforward, as you say Smiley

Sunny - I think that this matter of ISPs  - some people with a particular one are very satisfied - others with the same company have nothing but trouble - it’s all “the luck of the draw”,  really.  A bit like somebody recommending, say, a particular TV - “It’s so good”, etc.  You buy the same product - and it’s a problem from Day 1.

Presumably this also means a new e.mail address.

Presumably this also means a new e.mail address.

If you change to a different ISP - and have your email via them - then it's a new "email address".
Of course, if you have say, a Hotmail account, or with Yahoo- then you just use that.

I have a personal email address . . . . it makes life sooo much easier! Wink
