I have edited/deleted the above post as the information was incorrect.

Suffolkboy briefly mentioned the Gypsy Queen in his Reply #96 in "Images of Pakefield". Unfortunately, he was only a guest at that time. Does anybody know who he is ?

Suffolkboy was a member on here until a few months ago but for reasons better known to him he terminated his membership.   His posts will remain but will now show up as a Guest.  There are others on here who still have contact with him, bit I can't remember who.

I had a reply from Suffolkboy. He is not sure if it was the Gypsy Queen that sank ,it may have been the Guava. He did live opposite the Smith family in Florence Road  and Mr Smith was the skipper of the boat he remembered lost with all hands. That is all he can remember. If he thinks of anything else he will let me know.
