I agree with you about the prices Eileen.Prices have risen in restaurants here but still not as high as U.K.I have sent cold food back many times.I find Red Lobster always has hot food-never had a cold or bad meal there!

I see some of you dont agree with me but just out of interest how long ago did you eat at the Harvester? We have eaten there some time back before  it was altered and we were not very impressed thats why its taken such a long time for us to try it again.Iknow by experience that you can have a good meal one time and not so good another time where ever you eat ,but if the foods not right i would always complain.I spent a good part of my life in the pub and restaurant business so i do know how importent it is to please the public so we will give The  Harvester another try soon and report back to l o l

I had a similar experience with the Star Hotel in Yarmouth.
I had an absolutely terrible meal there a couple of years ago and swore to never enter the hotel again.
Anyway got talked into going there last month and the food was superb, OK not Michelin standard but a good restaurant standard. I would recommend a try.

a long time ago we had a family xmas day lunch at the Star Hotel Gt Yarmouth and it was a disaster.  We have never gone back, but these places change ownership so often now so you never know till you try if its any good

Last week we went to the Commodore in Oulton Broad and had a splendid meal.

Meal and service was good with very friendly staff. We will definately return.
