Hello everyone, I am  trying to trace any family I may still have in the area.  My grandfather Frederick William Knight (1897) was born in Alma Road Lowestoft.  His father was Charles Owen Knight born in Bermondsey, London - his  mother Margaret Falconer was from Mussleburgh in Scotland.  I see from Google maps that Alma Road still exists and I am hoping to visit this summer to do some research, and have a holiday.  Bye for now :-)

Ken Blowers of "Ken's Corner" on here lived in Alma Road.I lived in Roman Rd and Alma Road was near to where I lived.

Hi A Knight I knew a Frederick Knights but he would not be as old a person as you are looking for  so not thre same one I m afraid anyway welcome to the site and hope you find the info you are looking for

Hello A Knight there was a Knight family who lived in Flensburgh street when I was a kiddy, Iris was about 17 when I was 12, that was in the 30`s, not sure if this will be helpful, hope you enjoy Lowestoft-on-Line, it`s great!
