Just read the Autocar Magazine report on the new Ferrari FF, 4x4 four-seat hatch...
It has lept to the top of my 'Dream Car' list.
What would your 'Dream Car' be if you had unlimited funds?...

I'm not technically-minded, but for me it would have to be either the K.I.T.T. car from Knight Rider, or the Transam from Back To The Future.
Having said that, the car I would love to own would be the flying car that has fold-up wings. Actually available to order right now, it costs a mere £250,000! Does around 350 miles before needing refueling too, and refuels at all petrol stations - I dream of flying in to visit my folks, or going to work and landing vertically!! Having said that, there is currently dispute over whether you need a pilots license or not.

If I could afford one of those ^^^ I'd also be able to afford 6 houses. 5 to rent out, & the 6th to live in. I could then have a life of idle luxury!!
Seriously though, until these things stop being so expensive they'll only be the playthings of the extremely rich. At prices like that who's going to take them seriously?

To answer the question my dream car would still be fairly basic. I'd rather have a functional car & put any spare money into the house & lifestyle of my dreams.

Seriously, even if I won the lottery, my dream car would still only be a diesel ford focus estate. Practical and I wouldnt have to worry too much about wrecking it with horse poo and dog hair. I could carry passengers, dogs and tow a trailer. It genuinely is my dream car! Perhaps I need to get out more!!

Oh NOooooooooooooooooooooooo
It is a Honda (the power of dreams)
I have had Merc's Ford's BMW's Jaguar Audi (lest said about that the better) a dog sorry a Rover
Also had the pleasure to drive many other makes including a 'Dino' and a 'Bora' (the "then" bosses toys) but none of them are as pleasing to drive or as versatile as my current Honda (the third of its type) but sadly it will be the last in this range as Honda have altered the model which now does not fit in with what I like.

Technically there are cars that work in that very same way. Degrading foods make gas this gas is harvested and then bottled and then it can run an ignition spark engine The gas = Methane

Subaras are very popular here in vermont due to their excellent road worhiness in the snow. I love my Ford Escape which is an SUV but a small one and it has 4 wheel drive for the bad roads. I do like my brother's Jaguar too although that wouldn't be practical for our winter driving.

Escapes are great, Eileen. My mum bought hers just before she retired in 2002 and loves it. I almost bought one when I was thinking about a new car, but I bought another Chevy Camaro. I've had it since Nov 2001. It's been a really good car. Would consider an Escape if I was looking for another car. If I could have any car, with money being no object, it would be a Chevy Corvette. I've always loved them and they are built right here in Kentucky.

Some years ago I was riding along The Avenue des Champs-Élysées in a chauffeur-driven Rolls Royce! It was great sitting in the back and, as you slowed down for some reason, you saw a car pull up beside you - and faces were peering to see if it was anyone important sitting in the back - it was of course - me! That was when my (practiced) “Queen Mum’s Wave” was sooo useful!

That was when my (practiced) “Queen Mum’s Wave” was sooo useful! That reminded me of when my friend got married in Las Vegas a couple of years ago and I went to the wedding. Afterwards, her husband got a Hummer Limo and we rode around town in that thing. Everytime we'd stop, one of us would pop out of the sunroof or roll down the window just a bit and wave. We laughed so much. People wondered who was in that huge thing! Oh, it also had a stripper pole in it LOL!!!

Of course, one just doesn't do that sort of thing when travelling in a Rolls - the overall experience is so much more refained.

Hi Trigger that was so funny, just wondering how you came to be in the Rolls (nosey), anyway Trig it also reminded me of when we went round Sandringham House in Norfolk, my cousin`s husband works for the Queen, not sure of his position but he did all the arranging of visits etc: well he met us at the entrance and took us to this rear royal car about 6 or 8 of them I think, put us in , said he would see us at the terminal, and we felt so grand, people were looking at us as if we were friends of royalty, and my sister Betty , sat so upright and regal and gave them the most perfect wave, well we all, couldnt stop laughing, it was such a great day, from that, I know the feeling . Some things are never forgotten, He can come back now Karen cant he

It's all very well having these "Dream Cars" . . . . but:
"Son writes off his dad's £275,000 supercar"
A 20-year-old has written off his dad's £275,000 Gumpert Apollo after taking it for a spin in Germany. He lost control of the rear wheel drive supercar on a sharp bend near Brokdorf, just north of Hamburg. After the crash the driver's door ended up 100ft (30m) away and the car was described as a "total loss". The man was driving with a 19-year-old female passenger and both of them walked away from the accident with minor injuries. Police are investigating whether he was speeding when he lost control of the car on the 50mph road. The Gumpert Apollo has a top speed of 225mph (360kph) and goes from 0 to 60mph in less than three seconds.

"Bubble car business takes off in Lincolnshire"
One of the most unlikely business ventures run by a Lincolnshire family is enjoying great success with full order books and exports to America.
Father and daughter team of Alan and Emma Murphy, have developed a scale model version of the 1950s bubble car that only goes at 25 miles an hour, but it is cheap and in demand.
