Your Dream car if you had unlimited funds:-)
« Posted: 02 April 2011 at 05:51 PM »
Just read the Autocar Magazine report on the new Ferrari FF, 4x4 four-seat hatch...
It has lept to the top of my 'Dream Car' list.
What would your 'Dream Car' be if you had unlimited funds?...

I'm not technically-minded, but for me it would have to be either the K.I.T.T. car from Knight Rider, or the Transam from Back To The Future.
Having said that, the car I would love to own would be the flying car that has fold-up wings. Actually available to order right now, it costs a mere £250,000! Does around 350 miles before needing refueling too, and refuels at all petrol stations - I dream of flying in to visit my folks, or going to work and landing vertically!! Having said that, there is currently dispute over whether you need a pilots license or not.

Aston Martin DBS, or an Audi R8 if I'm having to watch the pennies.

If I could afford one of those ^^^ I'd also be able to afford 6 houses.
5 to rent out, & the 6th to live in.
I could then have a life of idle luxury!!
Seriously though, until these things stop being so expensive they'll only be the playthings of the extremely rich. At prices like that who's going to take them seriously?

To answer the question my dream car would still be fairly basic. I'd rather have a functional car & put any spare money into the house & lifestyle of my dreams.

I guess buses count;)
RM? Not a London RT then? The RTs have the impressive tall radiator (as you know), I'ld go for an RT given the choice.
