The girls at work have been there a few times, I think it might be to do with my supervisor being the mother-in-law of the entertainments director Wink and they have always had a great meal though its not the cheapest place to eat. I think if you have a meal you can get into see the show at a consessionary rate as well though don't quote me on that  Lips Sealed

Just looked at their sweet menu, no Spotty Dick or Jam Roly Poly...so I think I will give it a miss Wink Grin Grin

Black Rock Signature Dessert Fresh Strawberries, Marshmallows, Jelly Babies, Vanilla Fudge and Panettone served with Hot White Chocolate & Rum Sauce and Milk Chocolate & Grand Marnier Sauce

Shortbread Tower with Passion Fruit Mousse & Mango Sorbet

Traditional Italian Ice Cream -
Luxury Pistachio, Vanilla Roma, Italian Chocolate, Banana, Honeycomb, Blackberry & Blueberry

Baileys and Mascarpone Cheesecake

Belgian Chocolate Marquise & Brandy Snap with Wild Berry Ice Cream

A selection of fine Cheese & Biscuits

But if I was forced to eat there I would probably go for the 'Cheesecake' Smiley

Well the exotic meat 'extra' is worth trying if you are a bit brave. I had Zebra, Reebok, Vennison and Wild Board - and very tasty they were! It's more a dining experience that a conventional restaurant - but the staff are friendly and attentive, and I found it much better value for money that one of the Whitbread chains, that may only work out a tenner cheaper for average service, pre-packed indenti-food and noisy environment.

my niece went and thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the evening in general. It was marred by the fact that all their clothes reeked of smoke and cooking. It took days hanging outside to clear.

I love Lowestoft but I love Oklahoma more!

That's what I like about all our restaurants in Oklahoma they are smoke free unless they have an enclosed smoking room which not many have. Here in Texas when we went out to breakfast it was awful to smell the smoke in the diner we went to.

All restaurants in the UK are smoke free, as are all enclosed public buildings. I believe Meryl must be refering to the smoke caused by the grill.

Yes I was . I was referring to the sizzling smo ke caused by the cooking at the table.  Meg, we have no smoking rule in any public place. sorry if I wasn't clear.
