A face cream that cures wrinkles using the power of snail slime is the latest is a string of bizarre beauty products to hit the UK.…

When it comes to wrinkle removal, it seems women are willing to put almost anything on their face.
Enter Capibell Cream, a snail slime-based face cream that promises to iron out wrinkles and nourish the skin.

The face cream is expected to go on sale in Britain next year after it is showcased at cosmetic exhibitions in Milan next week.

It was developed in Laboratorios Lissia in Colombia - where snails are bred for use in aquariums - after people discovered their hands were left plump and silky soft after handling the creatures.

The £10 cream is the latest concoction in a string of bizarre treatments purporting to cure the dreaded onset of wrinkles.

Ok folks - is anyone going to give this a try?  Ladies - you could try this instead of your Oil of Olay . Guys - put your moisturiser to one side and try Snail Slime instead.

Wonder if allowing the snails to glide around on your face would have the same effect?
