Seems you typed out the word 'letters' twice in your last post SD.  The first one was OK the second came out as 'leeters'.   Could be that  you held down the 'e' too long and it auto-repeated and you probably only typed the 't' once.       Have never come across keyboards mis-typing in the 25+ years of using them.

That doesnt make sense.

For a partition to be used for 'anything', it has to be formatted.  If Windows repair files are held on it then it has already been formatted; it may however be a hidden drive.  Normally this shows up as D drive in My Computer, at which point you can just copy and paste, or drag items over to it.  Personally I would split this partition into two so as to keep the Windows repair files safe, but unless you know what you are ding its probably best to leave that alone.  Windows 7 is well known for taking far more space for its repair files than is needed; not sure whether it is a bug in the program or simply Microsoft trying to play it safe.

The drive is ready to accept your data so copy to the D drive and or even better than leaving it on there save the images to DVD that way you can carry them any where and use them as a back up.
If your re-installing your OS from the D drive (to factory settings) I would definitely make a DVD of the images and then one of the music in either WMP or MP3

Can your WMP (or what ever one your using) read from the place where you have stored the Down Loaded files.
If using WMP then update your library to also look at the D/L folder (if that is where the wma file is)

D/l folder is where you selected to store the file when you down loaded it.
From your post I think you are then putting your file into a shared folder then your media player is then using that folder for one of its library's
I am not sure if the DRM come into your type of files and storage (never done a torrent yet)
Have you checked that the file type you down loaded is the right sort for your player to handle.

(could it be a bad download?)

Try double-clicking the file in the folder and see if any program will open it.  If not you should get a message saying so.
