Early photographs of Harbour area?. « Posted: 16 February 2011 at 08:49 AM »

I wonder if anyone has any early photographs of the Harbour area especially Waveney Road.
I intend spending a fair bit on work to my shop and the floors above and want to see what the original structure and that of the surrounding buildings looked like.
Despite being a so called conservation area, its a mess with windows boarded over with garish adverts and PVC windows and doors etc.The building next door to me (the four storey one) shows what can be done and I'm curious as to how much of my building is original.

Try the Lowestoft Library Research Department. They are usually most helpful and have access to loads of maps and material.
