Despite the result i was very glad i went (my hoodoo of seeing town lose on every away match continues...) the match was great if you were a neutral and there were many there, i heard there were people from Dartford, AFC Hornchurch and Enfield.
The match itself was a classic 7 goal thriller, Lowestoft guilty of some bad defending and once again getting caught on the break, Curtis didn't have too good a match and found life difficult, he also needlessly gave away a penalty.
Lubomir Guentchev scored another brilliant goal and hopefully he will still be with us for next season. A lot of the Tonbridge fans were curtious, down to the tannoy announcer who was very complimentary to Lowestoft. The attendance was 2411, a great advert for non league football there must have been at least 500 Lowestoft fans there who were very vocal and did the club proud.
Overall it is worth noting how far the club has come over the past 3 seasons, despite the disappointment of not winning everyone connected with the club should be very proud with whats been achieved as well as the great first season at non league level 3.
Hopefully next seasons we will go up as champions!!
Below is a video of the game taken by the cameraman at Tonbridge, showing all the goals, im sure you'll agree Guentchev's goal to make it 3-3 was a cracker! Remember for this match Lowestoft were playing in their white away strip.
See you next season!

Well done Lowestoft, we're very proud of you.
It is more that can be said for the disgusting behaviour of the Tonbridge Angels fans that came into the North Stand with the Lowestoft fans and started fighting. My husband, son and 2 small girls had to jump down from the side of the stand or they would have been been crushed against the railings as Lowestoft supporters tried to get out of the way. If my husband hadn't been there the 2 girls may well have been seriously hurt.
There was only 1 steward and 2 police and the rest just stood there watching. It was half time before anymore police turned up. At the end of there were 7 riot vans at least they had to be drafted in from all over Kent. They were total animals.
Appart from that the other Tonbridge fans were great.

I was also there James, and we all had a cracking day out. Really enjoyed the game even though like you say the result was a dissapointment. As was the fact that no beer was available after the fighting... apart from that, a great lowestoft moment and a brilliant atmosphere in the stand behind the goal in the 2nd half. Top day out

So proud of the boys and had a great weekend, travelling with the team on friday chilling with them in the hotel , a good dinner, nice walk round the grounds followed by a brunch then with the team onto the game.
We played well and were very unlucky, on the coach back to the hotel the whole team were devestated at the result, and for that reason I know we will bounce back stronger, none of the players ever want to feel like that again. Micky Chapman said the dressing room after the final whistle was worse than wembley.
Have a good break lads you have done us proud
