Hello Grin I am new and looking for dentist recommendation if anyone can help? :)I am looking for someone good in canal root treatment  Smiley

I agree with Meryl - Andrew Yaxley is a really good dentist.  I too have been going there for years.

I will agree with the others endorsing Yaxley (& Fern), I went to Yaxley for years, but then developed a super sensitivity to dental pain & had lot of trouble with no dental anaesthetics working.  The Yaxley practise was at that time a little sparce on high tech equipment & were unable to help me.  The practice on the High Street had more advanced equipment & technology, it's a much bigger practise, but it still didn't meet my needs.  Next up from that was a big practise in Beccles, they have even more facitities but still couldn't help me.  In the end I had to go private, to Wade of Brundall, who, while not having the technical facilities himself has excellent contacts & access to other practises at the James Paget Hospital & at other private practises, some of whom also do NHS work, & was able to get me into places that can give me, a diabetic, the full general anaesthetic I need for any dental work.

But unless you have special requirements this won't be necessary.  I can look up the Beccles practise for you if you like.

John G Plummers is a great one, I've been there for years and never had a problem! Theyre up near the Denes High School Smiley

Avenue dentist Mr Antonio lovely gentle chap and they are taking on NHS patients

Mr Yaxley is lovely too but not sure they are taking new patients on worth a try

Not sure why you had to go all round the houses Joe any one with special needs can be referred for anesthetic at JPH by any dentist and although I didnt have any special medical problems this year I was happily referred on to JPH because I was so fearful of having a wisdom tooth out without an anesthetic

I go to John Plummers at Oulton Medical Centre and am very happy there. Last i heard they were taking new patients.

I've been going to Plummers for years - while it was a new practice belonging to Ian Fox, who partnered up with Mr Plummer. I've been very happy, but had a root canal needing doing, and it was a toughy - and the dentist said she really couldn't do it as it needed specialist treatment - she gave up when I'd had all the anaesthetic she could give and the tears were still running down my face.

They sent me to a private dentist practice in Norwich
Charing Cross Practice 13 Charing Cross Norwich   NR2 4AX

They had microscopes and were amazing. Cost a lot, but well worth it for a pain free experience
